From the moment you get pregnant you are told stories. Stories of labor and delivery. Of sleepless nights the happy and the good times. But, the one thing that no one seemed to tell me was how lonely you can be. When you spend all day everyday with the little ones. But you can go weeks at a time not leaving the house for one reason or another. Sometimes even a month where the only real social interaction you get is with your kids.
My husband leaves for work early everyday. Comes home eats dinner goes to bed. Then does it again. On his days off he doesnt want to go out. He wants to stay home and relax. I realize that there are periods of time where the farthest I get from my home is the yard and never alone.
That is why I am so thankful for social pages. I imagine what my life could be like where I do not even have facebook to talk to my friends. But, I also know and understand that sometimes talking to a stranger who gets it is better then talking to a friend who doesnt. That is why I started my page. To connect each other. I have a lot on my plate that others may be able to relate to. My son has special needs, my daughter is only 6m, my husband is in the military. Yes I juggle a lot. Not many of my friends fully understand. But they are all supportive.
Well I am here I am a shoulder and an understanding ear. My facebook page is full of inspiration and humor for those "Rough" days that every parent or spouse can go through. You are doing the best you can do. As am I and that is all anyone can ask for.
