Yay part two of fun and crafty ideas! Now this second part is for older children or just the parents to craft. Using the same novel from before (it was a $.99 Romance Novel) I made ornaments and decorations for the house. I love using the pages of a book it makes the decorations so much prettier.
For my first craft all you need is the cover of the book, a paper towel roll, Glue, and book pages. I cut and curled strips of pages from the book and glued them to the paper towel roll making a festive looking winter tree. Then my little man rolled pages to make a Frosty. Once our tree and frosty were finished I glued them to the cover of the book as a stand. This craft came out adorable.

Next, I used more pages from the novel. You tear them out then cut out circles. Bend all the circles in half. Then the folded circles gluing the halves together. Until you make a circle. Then glue ribbon on top to hang on the tree. For me I wanted different sized ornaments. So some circles were cut from the whole page (Large ornaments) and some circles were only cut from half a page (Small ornaments). The best way to get the circles the same size is by neatly stacking the few pages you plan to use on top of each other then cut the circle from the neat stack.
